The Karma Foundation, an organization committed to social welfare, has launched an ambitious project aimed at providing nutritional meals to those in need. On Friday, they introduced their innovative Food Truck Project, designed to support homeless individuals and underprivileged children in Ahmedabad, India.
The food truck, which will operate daily across the city, serves as a mobile kitchen offering free meals to at least 200 people every day. The foundation has plans to scale this initiative in the future, ensuring it reaches more people and provides essential nutrition to those who need it most.
The initiative, led by Ms. Priyanshi Patel, the Founder and Managing Trustee of Karma Foundation, aims to combat hunger and provide a sense of dignity to those struggling to meet basic nutritional needs. According to Ms. Patel, “Our primary goal is to feed homeless individuals and underprivileged children, ensuring they receive nutritious meals to sustain their health and well-being.”
The project has been made possible with the support of NK Proteins and Nila Infrastructure, which have partnered with the foundation to provide the necessary resources for the truck’s operation. Karma Foundation envisions a future where hunger is no longer a barrier to living a dignified life. Through this initiative, they are not only feeding the hungry but also working towards building a healthier, more hopeful society.
Karma Foundation continues to inspire change by reaching out to those who need help the most, bringing hope and nourishment to every corner of Ahmedabad.
