As Gujarat’s summer temperatures soar, thousands of underprivileged individuals endure extreme hardship—walking barefoot on scorching pavements, struggling to find shade, and going hours without access to clean drinking water. For them, summer isn’t just a season; it’s a fight for survival.
To combat this, Karma Foundation launched the ‘Beat the Heat’ campaign—a mission to provide relief, protection, and care to the most vulnerable.

IMPACT

• Hydration for All – Installed water jugs at multiple BRTS stations across Ahmedabad, ensuring that commuters, labourers, and the homeless have access to safe drinking water.
• Footwear & Clothing Drive – Organized community collection drives, distributing light summer clothing and sandals to those braving the heat without proper protection.
• Collaborative Action – Partnered with local charities, government agencies, and volunteers, streamlining relief efforts to maximize outreach and efficiency.
• Reaching 200+ Families – Essential summer relief kits were distributed, ensuring that those in need received the protection they deserved.
