A child’s laughter should echo with joy, not fear. At Karma Foundation, we believe every child deserves a safe and secure childhood. Through our POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Awareness Program, we are committed to educating, empowering, and protecting children—ensuring they grow up with awareness, confidence, and the support they need to speak up against abuse.

Our Reach & Impact

• 29 Awareness Programs conducted across diverse locations, including schools, ashram schools, universities, vocational centres, slums, and rural areas.
• 3,500+ Individuals Engaged – spreading awareness among children, parents, educators, and community members.
• 820+ Beneficiaries Directly Trained this year, equipping them with the knowledge to recognize, prevent, and report abuse.
• Each session was more than just legal awareness—it was about breaking the silence, replacing fear with strength, and giving children the confidence to protect themselves.

OUTCOMES

• Increased Awareness – Participants gained a clear understanding of safe and unsafe touch, legal protections under POCSO, and reporting mechanisms.
• Empowered Voices – Children and young adults learned to identify abuse and feel confident in seeking help.
• Enhanced Community Responsibility – Parents, teachers, and caregivers became more proactive in creating a safer environment.

SDG 4 ensures inclusive and equitable quality education and promotes lifelong learning opportunities for all. POCSO awareness educates communities about child safety, rights, and legal protections.
